NightstickNSP-1260 Multi-Purpose LED Flashlight, Orange

I had several of these flashlights (the black ones without the magnet), and they were great. I just got some of these orange ones with the magnet mount, and I have to say, the magnet attachment is fantastic! It's a really strong magnet, and the mount is very utilitarian - one of these is going in my truck ASAP. You can turn the flashlight's flood light in any direction you need. It would be perfect for mounting under the hood of my truck if I ever break down. Another one is going in my utility room (I have steel shelves in there, perfect for the magnet attachment), and another one is going in my garage. I'm buying a couple more as Christmas presents too. My only gripe about these is that the buttons aren't the easiest to use, but that's a minor thing considering how bright these lights are, and how long the batteries last. They are my favorite type of LED flashlight!

I purchased this light primarily for use during power outages.The packaging claims:Flashlight: 150 lumens, 10 hoursFloodlight: 120 lumens, 4 hoursDuallight: 270 lumens, 3 hoursFloodlight (half power): 10 hoursI tested it in the floodlight (half power) mode with four Sony AA NiMH rated at 2000 mAh. At its rated limit of 10 hours, it was usable, but marginal for reading with the text placed directly underneath the light. With 2500 mAh cells, it probably would have still been bright.The engineering is good, but I find I need a tool to extract the batteries. The magnetic is strong. The clip doesn't conform to the housing, but is functional.I rate it excellent because it is lightweight, only uses four cells, has a highly usable stand, good light output and excellent battery life.

This is, without a doubt, the best flashlight I've ever used. If you grew up using flashlights with "D" batteries that seemed to last about 20 minutes with yellow light or Maglights that NEVER work unless you twist, turn, bang, twist again, bang again, this is the flashlight for you. I own two. One has been dropped about 20 times from a height of 3 feet onto computer floor tiles and it's till going strong. The magnet clamp design is definitely an after-thought. It's a very poor design, at least when I purchased it. WHO CARES!!! I can overlook it since it works so well. I do wish the lenses were replaceable. Mine are pretty scratched now. I should have put the same plastic covering we use on smartphones to cut down on damage. If you we're to buy iPad screen covers and cut them up you'd have enough to last awhile.

I bought this light to keep in our barn. Overall I am very pleased with it, I like the two switch option and the stand. However, I do wish it also had a feature that would allow me to hang it (suspend it from a hook). Other than that I have had a good experience when using it. It is slim, and fits in my coat or back pocket for easy carrying.

Best flashlight for walking my dog. Using dual beam option, I have the beam on the sidewalk and flood on dog.

These are great lights, I thought I had the big one, purchased several sizes at my local Elec Supply House, they no longer stock them and my big one vanished. So I ordered this one thinking it was the same. Wrong, I didn't know they came this big, almost a foot long and 1 1/2" wide. I'm not complaining, I like it, just be aware of the size.Plenty of bright, fairly natural colored light, and easy on batteries.

the two stands are great, i like the fact of the batteries, i have a rechargeable style[another brand] but it seems like every time i want to use it i have to plug it in for a half hour before i can use it,the batteries last a very long time being L E D's,these were my 2nd and 3rd one's I have bought, need I say anymore? PS, being orange I can always find them
