XoticBrands Steampunk Astrolabe Wall Clock - Home Accent - Cold Cast Bronze Sculpture

This is a Christmas gift so I can't really say anything about the function of the clock. I wanted to make sure it wasn't broken when it first arrived, so I began to open the box. When I lifted the flaps of the box I saw, right on top on the styrofoam containing the clock, an open, red boxcutter. I've included a picture that shows the impression the thing made in the styrofoam. I don't know what could possibly explain this but it's weird and a little creepy.Added comment: They eventually gave me a $15 credit because of this experience.
