The Pedal in FX LoopThe name is intuitive, MDR, Modulation, Delay, Reverb. If you think about it. These are all the effects that are supposed to go into the FX Loop of your amps. The ambient stuff, the psychedelic stuff. It's where all your creativities take charge. Be imaginative! Be you! We encourage you to find your own sound with this pedal. The endless sonic possibility is the original idea we had when developing Dapper MDR in the first place. What's In ItThe modulation part has chorus, flanger, phaser, Uni-vibe, tremolo, and vibrato in it. Other than the LEVEL, DEPTH, RATE controls as in every modulation pedal, we add an EQ circuit up there. You can use it to adjust the LOW and HIGH. The delay part has 3 voicings: digital, analog, and tape. Reverb part also has 3 voicings: room, hall and plate. So, how many combinations you can get? You do the math.Bonus Features For the DELAY and MODULATION part, you can hold the footswitch button to enter the tap tempo mode. And if you hold the footswitch of REVERB button, you can switch the effect trail on and off. And if you hold the DELAY and REVERB button together, you can engage the built-in tuner. Other than all those, it has a headphone jack, you can plug it in and play silently during midnight.Specifications:Power:9V DC center negative(included)Current Consumption: 150mADimensions: 197mm(D)×65mm(W)×42mm(H)Weight: 417gDelay Time Range: 25ms-2000msInput Impedance: 1MΩOutput Impedance: 1kΩ

A good value (with caveats)
The Pros:1. It’s a slim footprint on a pedalboard. You can place pedals above it and still comfortably reach them.2. Packs in a lot for the size and without a digital screen. Just remember the switch positions on the modulations since the writing is tiny.3. It’s actually excellent value for the money. I got it on sale, and since then it’s actually gone down further in price. For under a $100 it’s a no brainer.4. The delay and modulation are surprisingly usable. And there’s a tap function.5. There’s a tuner and it’s blunt for accuracy. But at least it’s there if needed. The Cons:1. The entire unit is a bit of a tone suck. I use it in a parallel loop configuration with an acoustic so those nice transients get a bit swallowed up when turned on.2. When turned on, the volume gets pulled down slightly. Not huge, but it’s noticeable.3. The reverb is basically terrible. The one knob and three preset reverb just doesn’t offer enough control and frankly it’s crappy.Overall opinion. This is a stopgap multi effects pedal until you step up to better individual ones. I bought it because I wanted something for the acoustic board that didn’t use up a lot of space and had a tap function. All my Cons above are workable to some degree, but you get what you pay for has never been more true.I think if effects are something you want to get into, and you don’t want to dive into the realm of screens or lots of manual reading, this is probably best for you. If your an experienced player, treat yourself to higher end gear. I don’t see myself using the reverb at all, expect in the rare occasions where a mixer board doesn’t offer one.

pleasantly surprised
I got this to run some vocals through, but went ahead and tested it with the ol gitfiddle. What a surprise! I'm somewhat of a tone snob, but I'm constantly looking for good deals as well. This hits. For the price, you get a fantastic multi-pedal thats capable of replacing half of a six or seven unit board. The multi-function switches really drive the value in, being able to change my delay timing without bending over during a gig is an unexpectedly FANTASTIC feature I found out last night at the show. I kept my rv6 and dd3 on my board just in case but this will easily replace them if I wanted to. Some of a mods are a little dramatic and set to manipulate only slightly , but I imagine every guitarist would get a kick out of owning this. Now I'm debating whether to use my boss rv6,dd3, and behringer mod pedal for my vocals or this thing. We shall see. No buyers' remorse! Finally!!

Quiet, well-made, with great Effects.
So far, my experience is that Valeton's pedals are nice & quiet. They have a low noise-floor, very little hiss which has always been a deal-breaker here. The reverbs on this MDR are pretty great, and they provide a generous swath from natural to huge cavernous over-the-top with a turn of the dial. The delays have variation and work fine, except having the addition of reverse-delay would've made this unit irreplaceable. the mod effects are fairly standard, do what they're supposed to but are acceptably generic- boutique phase or chorus or vibe pedals would maybe sound richer, more complex, but their price for a single pedal usually equals this whole package. I don't see where this unit can't be applied- quiet enough for studio, perfect size for a gig-bag. I plan on possibly dropping this into a little board with maybe a small ring mod and an octaver, to cover a lot of ground.

Great sounding effects at a budget price
I bought this unit to provide some ambiance to my grab-and-go mini pedal board. I was pleasantly surprised on how good it sounded. Delay and modulation are excellent. The only thing I wish the reverb had was a mix knob but the reverbs are still very usable. My favorites are the Tape Delay, Plate Reverb, and the Chorus 1 and Tremolo 1 settings. The unit is quite well made. The yellow against purple lettering can be a bit hard to read but it looks really cool. It's a great value for the money.

NICE multi-pedal!
The media could not be loaded. Great build quality, and superb effects sounds, IMO anyway! Great reverbs and delays. I'm not a big modulation guy, but there are a TON of variety in the modulation section, 9 switch settings and 5 parameter knobs. This is a great pedal for ambient or general nice stuff. See the video!

For beginners
The sound quality of the modulation and the delay is okay but reverb didn't meet my expectation. Maybe it's not suitable for a full band worship team. Also in my case the switches often do not work at once, so I had to push them again and again. Therefore I returned it.But if you are a beginner player or just planning to build a budget pedal board for a smaller band, it would fit.

Perfetto per le mie esigenze.
Avevo necessità di un piccolo multieffetto, proprio di questo tipo, da aggiungere alla mia pedaliera.Che dire... Per quello che costa, va più che bene. 🙂
