Hair Styling Pomade for Men 4oz Water Based - GOLDEN COAST COMPANY

The pomade is a 4oz canister for a price commensurate with around 3oz. The pomade itself is clear, not white, and should be applied to dry hair. Applying it to semi-wet hair made my hair far too shiny, though if that is the look you are going for, it might work out. The pomade itself is kept in a gym bag and even after sitting in a car in high humidity, 90+ temperatures did not leak out of the canister. The product itself kept a good hold without looking too 'stiff' for a good 12 hour day in the same high humidity but keep in mind that your mileage is going to vary depending on your hair. I use it on a short crop, 1.5-2 inches on top style and it suits me just fine. The smell is masculine without being overpowering of my cologne. Though when I did not wear cologne I enjoyed the hour or so I could smell the pomade. As a side note, I was not given any free or discounted product and I bought the product on Amazon without any coaxing by the company. Glad I did.

I've tried a handful of wax, pomades to gels and creams, but they all had problems with the level of hold, as well as discomfort and irritation with prolonged use.In my trial so far, this product is (personally) the LEAST irritating to my somewhat oily and sensitive scalp. It does appear natural and truly water-based.Styling is very easy. I would say it is a medium-to-strong hold. Your hair can easily be re-formed with a bit of water, which is a positive in contrast to most products that lose their hold when you add water to it. When you do want to wash it off though, it really does come off easily without any residue. Plus, it's not heavy to the point you'd want to wash it off in the evening.Texture and scent wise, it isn't sticky and holds well for my straight/thick Asian hair, and the fragrance quite nice and subtle.Also, I was surprised it came in a 4 oz container, when many other brands cost around the same or more for just 2 oz.Nothing else really to say other than that it is a great product! This is a wonderful product that I use daily. The low star review is due to an issue with how the pomade is packaged. Twice I've gotten new jars of pomade that arrived with the pomade inside dried out and tacky. The lids of the jars were loose when they arrived, and I believe this caused the pomade to dry out. I feel like this could very easily be fixed by the manufacturer with a small piece of tape around the seal to make sure the jar stays tightly closed.

LOVE this pomade. I've gone through a countless number of hair styling products, and have never been able to find the one product that had the perfect balance of hold, volume and shine. I've FINALLY found it with this product. Not only does the pomade keep my long hair in perfect shape all day (and i mean ALL day long), it also provides the perfect amount of volume and is not TOO shiny which is something I've noticed with a lot of other pomade products. I cant recommend this product enough, especially to anyone who cares about their hair. 5/5 would purchase again.

I dont know what it is about this stuff, but its the best hair product ive used. I have tried everything from Port City Pomade to Suavecito. Ive used the cheap Axe crap and ive used expensive stuff like American Crew. This is the best bang for your buck..I have kind of thin hair and this stuff molds my hair to exactly how I want it. The smell is kinda weird but you dont notice it in your hair. My only complaint is that it CAN produce some white flakes if you rub your hair at all (kind of like gel does).I highly recommend this pomade.

I have been a Suavecito user for about 6 months which I really like, but saw Golden Coast pomade and was curious about how it compares. I must say, I really like it, it has similar hold to Suavecito, but maybe a little less hardness. I've used it with my hair damp and dry and it works well with both, slightly different results as described. I will but again.

This holds very well throughout the day. I also use a little to keep the hairs in place for the mustache and beard. It has a really nice sheen to it (which I like). I usually apply it to my hair when it's damp. When I get home from work, I throw some water on the hair and re-style a bit more, without needing to use extra product. So, this works very well for what I need. I have pretty thick, dry hair in case that helps.

Heard about this pomade through a friend and decided to give it a shot.Here are my findings:Backgroud: Been using Suavecito Firm as my main styling pomade for the past 4 years. Hair type is straight, medium length on top (dandy hair style).Method: I tried various ways when using this pomade: applying in layers with a little at a time, to using a good amount all at once.Result: The best thing about this pomade is the lightness. It gives a good hold but also feels very airy if that makes any sense. Easy to wash out, the smell is great, and it's even good when mixing with Suavecito as well. I will stick with this one for a while! Highly recommended!!
