I was skeptical when this came whether or not it would hold the weight of a full instant pot liner, but I was pleasantly surprised. It gets a good grip to lift the pot, and makes it very easy to remove the liner. I tried it on other items around the kitchen, and I think it will be a useful tool. I wish I had ordered more than 1.

Bought an Instant Pot and thought this gripper would be useful. And it was until the day one of the rubber grips fell out and into my pot of chili. I dropped the pan and spilled chili on my counter and floor. Luckily, it didn't lose much, but when I tried to put the gripper back in, it kept sliding out when holding anything more than an empty pot. I ended up having to buy superglue to affix the rubber part to the metal clamp. It's been good since then, but go in with open eyes. The tool works well until it doesn't, then you may lose your food, create a huge mess, and possibly burn yourself. Be careful.

I use these retriever Tongs [pot grippers] when camping. I have a set of aluminum pot grippers but they get hot really fast when handling a handle less pot. Even heavy gloves don't help much. Those solid metal grippers conduct heat very well and don't cool down quickly. These Tongs have a silicone barrier with plastic handles and don't conduct heat into my hands. No gloves required. Also I've not had any problem with pots slipping or not gripped well. I recommend these! I don't go backpacking without them.

These should come with the Instant Pot. If you try to lift a hot pot with your hands you will get into trouble, I know I did, I learned the hard way. I bought 2 of these and put magnets on them and they attach to the side of my Instant Pot.They very securely attach to the pot making it safe and easy to pull it out of the cooker. Usuall one will be enough but sometimes two are needed.

They don't have a good secure grip. Not sure if it is because there in not enough pressure or just that the pads are too slippery.

Not sure how I ever lived with out this little gadget! I use it when cooking with my instant pot, toaster oven/air fryer, and even my oven. I just ordered a second one to have as back up. Great little gadget!

Took it camping and it worked great!!

They did not line up properly and the spring wash hard to squeeze.
