I bought this to replace another inexpensive glass teapot that broke. This one has been performing well so far. The tea strainer is really nice, holes are small enough to prevent any particles. The handle is nice. the rubber gaskets around the strainer make everything fit nice and snug. I'm a little worried that I'll break the glass lid. Overall this one feels more solid than the one it replaced. I think all these glass teapots last about a year before something happens. When this one does break I'll happily buy another if it is available at this price.

I ordered this tea pot for a special tea that I was hosting and it is exactly what I hoped for. I wanted a glass pot to show off the blooming tea balls that I ordered and it shows off the blooming tea flowers perfectly. It is quite impressive. Just remove the infuser and be sure to leave the rubber rim from the infuser in the pot so that the lid will not fall out when you pour. It holds 6 eight-oz cups nicely. I boiled the water in a kettle first and then poured it in the glass pot to let the tea steep. Very nice shape, arrived quickly and in perfect condition. I am very pleased.

Update: the seller agreed to replace the defective teapot at no charge - very impressed with their speed and customer focused attitude.Original Review: Loved the shape and function, but this is the second time a glass teapot has developed a crack where the glass handle is fused to the glass teapot body. It is an inherent design flaw. Too bad, because it's nice to have a clear glass teapot so you can see that it is cleaned properly.

I use my teapot daily and have been enjoying it for over three months now. I use it on medium heat directly on the burner and it functions beautifully. Being able to put the pot directly on the heat instead of having to heat the water in another pot and then pouring it over the tea is so much easier. I recently broke the button off the top of the lid and emailed customer service asking how to get a replacement lid. They replied within 24 hours and told me they didn’t have replacement lids but they would send me a whole new pot, it doesn’t get any better than that.

This is my favorite teapot. It has a large capacity over 50 ounces. It's easy to clean. The spout pours well without dripping. Sometimes I heat the water in the microwave in it. Other times I add boiling water. When the tea cools, I reheat it in the teapot in the microwave or store the pot of tea in the refrigerator for easy availability later. Even serving in large 12 oz. mugs, it makes enough tea for 4. In smaller teacups it serves 8.

Sought a glass teapot. Purchased based on price and didn't expect high quality. After 2 years of abuse, this thing's still going strong.Definitely worth purchasing.Impressed with the quality.

Made completely of glass. Once you remove the metal infuser unit, you can microwave the teapot to heat the water, then either use the infuser or teabags, whichever you prefer. The fact that it doesn't have the typical teapot spout means that it is less likely to spill while carrying it when nearly full, which was also a plus for me. Appears to be quality construction with good glass quality - no bubbles, chips, or flaws. All in all, it was just what I was looking for.

The product mostly works as advertised. The lid may still fall off however. Other than that I am very happy with it. The thing I like the most is that it is clear glass, which means I can order some of those cool-looking blossoming teas! Those flowering teas should really be beautiful in the glass pot.
