I have been using a Korean makeup brand for the last 10 years, and am now unable to get it in my preferred shade in the US. I have been searching for a replacement for it and at long last, I think this is it. About my skin: I am fair with some oily skin and some dry patches, I use SPF 50 moisturizer prior to applying makeup, and I don’t need heavy coverage. Things I look for in a makeup: SPF 50, light to medium coverage to even skin tone, and gives that slightly dewy glow. I have tried a lot of brands trying to find this combination (which I was getting from the makeup I can no longer get). Here is the breakdown for this product:Pros: SPF 50 (fully protected my skin outdoors for a couple hours without the need to reapply), easy application (I like the way the compact is built to have a place to dab excess off the cushion applicator), nice coverage (not full by any means, but enough to even out my skin tone), the range of available shades is nice (it is often difficult for me to find something that matches my skin tone), price (costs half what I was paying for my old makeup).Cons: need to use extra moisturizer prior to applying to avoid dry appearance. Does not give quite the dewy appearance that I like, but my skin does look healthy in this brand.I also want to give kudos to this company for offering a trial / travel size! I really appreciated being able to try out the makeup for $10, rather than paying $30 for something I might not like. The travel size fits perfectly in my purse too.The bottom line: I really like the protection, coverage and look of this makeup. I’m so happy to have finally found a reasonably priced alternative to my old makeup!

The foundation is decent, but it doesn’t provide the coverage I was hoping for. I have some freckles and discoloration, and unfortunately, this foundation doesn’t fully cover them. Even with a few layers, the coverage still feels light, so it might not be the best option if you’re trying to even out pigmentation.That said, the finish is nice and it feels comfortable on the skin. Plus, the size is great for beginners who want to give it a try without committing to a full-size product. If you’re looking for a lightweight foundation for a natural look, this could be a good choice, but if you need more coverage, you might want to explore other options.

I have tried many, many foundations and cushion foundations. Most make my skin texture and pores look worse. This does not. This has a nice blurring, more matte effect, it goes on like a dream. It is lightweight, light finish with great coverage. I have mature, dry to combination skin. I don’t use a foundation often I just use Jane Iredale tinted moisturizer (glowy effect) daily but for those days/nights when I like or need a little more coverage this is truly lovely.One of my very few favs! Very happy with this purchase.

i have been repurchasing this cushion compact forever. the fair-light shade is a perfect match for my complexion - very pale with green/yellow undertones. it doesn't have the gray cast that so many cushions and bb creams develop, though the shade range is extremely, extremely limited. ideal for everyday use and any skin type. lasts throughout the day, even on the oily parts of my combination skin, without creasing or oxidizing. coverage is buildable from light to medium and with medium coverage, masks both redness around the nose and dark undereye circles without ever feeling sticky or tacky or heavy. blends beautifully. no smell or fragrance that i can detect. higher spf than most makeup products and the value is fantastic with the refill compact. packaging is super cute, too, and the application design is genius.

Wanted to love it so bad, I liked how it applied and lasted long, coverage was good for the natural look it gave me. I was SO happy about it until the next day when I woke up with allergic reaction all over my face. Turns out some of the ingredients can be irritating to sensitive skin. I’m so sad because I loved everything else about it

This is my absolute favorite foundation. It looks like perfect skin, and it stays that way for several hours. It never separates, never pills, never oxidizes. It never makes my skin oily or dry. I love that has SPF50 and it never irritates my sensitive skin. The cushion is easy to toss in my purse or gym bag for touch-ups, though touch-ups aren’t often necessary. Jung Saem Mool Essential Cushion is perfection and I adore it.

Don’t knock this one until you try it. The coverage in my own opinion is far better than TirTir. It made my skin look like silk, and I used very little and was able to get coverage for my entire face. I have used TirTir in the past and thought it worked pretty well. However, when I came across this, I don’t think I’ll go back. I would have given this five stars had I chose the correct shade. It lasted all day and it was very lightweight on my skin. The stuff is awesome.
